Leon thinks about endorsing both of you but decides to settle it with a Pokémon battle, so Hop challenges you againĪfter defeating him, Leon gives you both endorsements to enter the Gym Challenge and some Wishing Stars fall down and you each get a Wishing Star, which gets turned into a Dynamax Band. When in Route 2, you will find Professor Magnolia's house where Leon already is and you'll discuss Dynamax and various other elements including the Gym Challenge.

As you battle, it gets foggier and eventually you and Hop are knocked unconscious. However, when you get further in, it gets foggy and Zacian/Zamazenta appear. Shortly afterwards, when you go to leave Postwick, a crash is heard and you find out that a Wooloo has gone in to Slumbering Weald, a forest from where people don't return so it is closed off. Hop will take the starter weak to you after the two families hold a barbecue. Go to the station and Leon will say that he has a special gift for you and Hop and, when you return to Hop's house in Postwick, it turns out to be the Starter Pokémon of the region. He will come to your house with his Wooloo and tell you that his brother, the Champion Leon, has arrived at the train station in the nearby town of Wedgehurst and suggest you go with him to meet him.
